Femetry

Femetry is an all-natural, doctor-formulated solution to some of the most frustrating and least talked about chronic health issues. Femetry offers potent doses of clinically studied ingredients that promote a healthy urinary tract and put you back in control of your bladder. Femetry is perfect for sensitive bladders affected by Interstitial Cystitis, or Painful Bladder Syndrome.

Femetry was developed by LifeSeasons, a supplement company that specializes in synergistic formulas, in partnership with three urogynecologists, Drs. Karyn Eilber, Victoria Scott, and Jennifer Anger. The physicians have nearly 50 years of combined clinical experience in treating patients with Interstitial Cystitis and other pelvic health issues. After seeing many patients who had nearly lost all hope, they dedicated their professional lives to helping women everywhere maintain their pelvic health.

Femetry is their answer. Formulated with potent ingredients that are gentle on the body, Femetry provides strong support against the challenges of Interstitial Cystitis.

Dr. Kayrn Eilber is a Professor of Urology and program director for the Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS) fellowship training program at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Her research is focused on urogynecology and female sexual dysfunction.

Dr. Victoria Scott served as Director of Education for the Cedars-Sinai FPMRS fellowship training program. She is passionate about educating her fellow healthcare professionals about the treatment of female pelvic floor disorders.

Dr. Jennifer Anger, UC Berkeley alum, is the Professor of Urology and Vice Chair of Research at the University of California, San Diego. Currently, her research in health disparities identifies several barriers to women’s access to healthcare.

Femetry Products

Urinary Cleanse & Flora Balance

When you receive your Urinary Cleanse & Flora Balance, start taking it twice daily for the first three days. Then take it once a day for an additional 10 days. Mix the powder into a glass of water until it dissolves, then drink immediately. Repeat this monthly to regularly cleanse your bladder and fortify your urinary microflora with “good” bacteria to stay in healthy balance.

Bladder Daily Comfort

When you receive your Bladder Daily Comfort, start taking it daily. Take four capsules, preferably with food. To experience the best results, take Bladder Daily Comfort for at least 90 days. This allows time for the formula to strengthen and replenish your bladder’s glycosaminoglycan (GAG) layer, support a healthier inflammatory response, and to help you manage daily stress.

Bladder Acid Control

Bladder Acid Control can be taken as needed prior to eating triggering or acidic foods and beverages, or to help prevent flares from triggering activities. Take one to twotablets before eating the potentially triggering food or beverage to help neutralize the acidity in your urine. If needed, you can take a third tablet. Bladder Acid Control can be taken on the same day as the other Femetry Bundle products.

For best results, use the formulas together for a minimum of 90 days to allow your body time to adjust and repair.

We recommend using all three products to get the maximum results. Femetry was formulated as a multipoint solution to address several challenges that IC patients often experience. However, only you know what’s right for your body.

Urinary Cleanse & Flora Balance has no added flavors, or sweeteners that could cause your bladder to flare. As a result, the powder is practically tasteless.

Yes, however, be cautious of combining the powder with a beverage that may cause a flare. For more information about drinks that might trigger a flare, see The IC Diet: 7 Foods to Avoid.

Yes, Bladder Acid Control helps to neutralize the acidity in your urine, which helps to reduce bladder discomfort. It can be helpful if you eat or drink acidic foods but can also be useful when you engage in a flare-inducing activity.

There are some herbs that do interact with certain prescription drugs. We recommend talking to a pharmacist or your healthcare partner before starting any new dietary supplement, to make sure there are no interactions.

While it is not expected for Femetry products to affect other conditions, we recommend checking with a trusted healthcare partner to ensure that Femetry is the right plan of action before starting.

The ingredients should be soothing and calming to the body. In fact, Femetry was formulated to address flareups and IC-related discomfort.

It is a common misconception that supplements are not regulated by the FDA. In fact, the natural supplements industry is heavily regulated by both the FDA and the FTC. LifeSeasons, the maker of Femetry, goes even further than those requirements and invests in gold-standard human clinical research on our finished formulas, with many completed studies to date.

When it comes to Femetry, the unique distinction lies in its synergistic blend of ingredients. While individual supplements can certainly offer benefits, Femetry has been meticulously crafted to combine these ingredients in a way that enhances their collective effectiveness. We took care in formulating Femetry to use ingredients that are gentle on the IC bladder and perfect for sensitive IC sufferers. We made a point to avoid potentially triggering ingredients, like Vitamin C or Cranberry, opting for ones that are potent and easy on the body.

Interstitial Cystitis

Interstitial Cystitis (in-tur-STISH-ul sis-TIE-tis) is a chronic condition that causes bladder pressure, bladder pain, and sometimes pelvic pain. If you have Interstitial Cystitis, your symptoms may also vary over time, periodically flaring in response to common triggers, such as menstruation, sitting for a long time, stress, certain types of exercise, and sexual activity.

Interstitial Cystitis signs and symptoms include:

  • Pain in your pelvis or between the vagina and anus in women
  • Pain between the scrotum and anus (perineum) in men
  • Chronic pelvic pain
  • A persistent, urgent need to urinate
  • Frequent urination, often of small amounts, throughout the day and night (up to 60 times a day)
  • Pain or discomfort while the bladder fills and relief after urinating
  • Pain during sex

Symptom severity is different for everyone, and some people may experience symptom-free periods. For more information on this chronic condition, see our article: What Is IC?

In the U.S. alone, there may be 12 million IC/BPS sufferers.

The Femetry doctors have written a comprehensive book that discusses pelvic floor health. You can find your copy here:
A Woman’s Guide to Her Pelvic Floor: What the F*@# Is Going On Down There?

The ICA advocates for research dedicated to discovery of a cure and better treatments, raises awareness, and serves as a central hub for the healthcare providers, researchers, and millions of patients who have interstitial cystitis.
