D-mannose is a type of carbohydrate that your body does not digest, but rather passes into the urine where it aids in inhibiting unwanted microbes from adhering to the bladder wall.* These microbes are then flushed out of your body during normal urination.

Although more commonly known for digestive and immune health, some probiotic bacteria also help maintain microbial balance throughout the urinary tract. This formula contains 10 billion CFU of three lactobacilli probiotic bacteria that have been researched for urinary health effectiveness (L. rhamnosus, L. reuteri and L. acidophilus).* To help these probiotics thrive in your system, this formula also contains a potent dose of inulin prebiotic plant fiber, which is a preferred food source for probiotics.
The effective clinical dose of D-mannose and prebiotic fiber is too large to be conveniently taken in pills. But they dissolve easily into a glass of water. The result is a colorless, practically tasteless drink without any added colors, flavors, or sweeteners that could cause your bladder to flare.
When you receive your Urinary Cleanse & Flora Balance, start taking it twice daily for the first three days. Then take it once a day for an additional 10 days. Mix the powder into a glass of water until it dissolves, then drink immediately. Repeat this monthly to regularly cleanse your bladder and fortify your urinary microflora with “good” bacteria to stay in healthy balance.
In successful clinical trials, 1.5 grams of D-mannose was given twice daily for the first three days, then just once daily for the next ten days.
